Furosemide is used in dogs and cats to promote diuresis and manage fluid retention. It is commonly used to treat pulmonary edema due to CHF. Other uses include diuresis in acute renal failure, management of ascites, hypercalcemia, or hyperkalemia. Furosemide is a loop diuretic available by prescription used to treat fluid retention (edema) in dogs and cats with congestive heart failure, liver disease, or certain kidney disease. Furosemide is also used to treat high blood pressure. the product diuretic effect is strong and short, is a potent diuretic for the treatment of heart, liver, kidney and other diseases caused by edema, especially for cases of ineffective kinate urine drug; can be used to treat acute pulmonary edema, brain edema, acute renal failure and hypertension and other diseases; with the rehydration of the product can promote the non-explosive poison.
