Apramycin (also Nebramycin II) is an aminoglycoside antibiotic used in veterinary medicine. It is for treating colon bacillus and salmonella choleraesuis ,bird intractable, outbreak of Escherichia coli, Salmonella, caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae pericarditis, hepatic coma, airsacculitis, peritonitis, arthritis, chicks omphalitis, salpingitis, enteritis. duck disease listeriosis caused by serositis of duck and duck colibacillosis . It has stronger antibacterial activity to gram-negative bacteria and most of gram-positive bacteria which is easy to infect poultry. Especially, it has very strong antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus which has drug resistance to other antibiotic.
