Botanical Name: Scabiosa Atropurpurea
A fairly drought tolerant plant, which is about 24-36″ tall producing long stems that good for fresh cut flowers. It bears an almost black, 1 ½-2 ½” blooms that are very attractive to bees and butterflies. It is also known as ‘Blackmoor’s Beauty’ or ‘Mournful Widow’. It reaches maturity in 90-100 days.
