The plants of this colour mix produces semi-double blooms in shades of lavender, salmon, magenta, and pale to bright pinks which are useful as cut and edible flowers. The plant which is also known as beebalm, Oswego tea, and scarlet beebalm, attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds to the garden. It is also usefull medicinally to improve digestion; leaves and blooms contain thymol-related antibiotic antiseptic compounds. It reaches maturity between 300 days to 1 year.
