30-36″ tall plant, spectacular spires in shades of deep blue to purple blooms. The stems are stiff, erect 1-2′ spikes densely covered with ½” pea-like flowers, these flowers look great in a meadow or garden, as well as bouquets. These hardy perennials are long-lived and require very little maintenance. They attract and provide food for bees. All parts of this plant are poisonous, including the seeds. They reach maturity in a year.
