Plant of these variety has mixed color leaves of these spreading but upright plants that are solid purple or variegated purple and green. The 3/4″, rounded, glossy, deep purple peppers ripen to yellow, orange, and finally scarlet. The pungent fruits may be used as a hot pepper seasoning. They mature to purple colour in 60 days while to red ripe in 85 days.
